Assistance and support for veterans & opportunities for civilians to volunteer, donate, and learn

This list is currently a work-in-progress, but our goal with this page of the website is to provide a place where veterans can find support and assistance in accomplishing their goals while civilians can find a place to get involved, whether by donating their time or money. Join the Surviving Home Nationwide Community Online

On November 5th, 2019, Surviving Home premiered across the country with a Nationwide Watch Event in which individuals and groups all sat down at the same time, regardless of time zone, to watch the film’s debut on PBS and WORLD Channel. Afterwards, a live-streamed panel discussion connected viewers across the country with the filmmakers, U.S. Army veteran Bobby Henline, and U.S. Marine Corps veteran Richard Delgado Jr.

A few days later, a Facebook group was created to continue that nationwide moment of connection, community, and conversation. If you would like to join our growing community of veterans and civilians in this ongoing dialogue, you may find additional information about local veteran service organizations. Or you may connect with someone whose own story is just what you needed to hear. Or, you may have the opportunity to help someone else with your own unique perspective. Every individual’s voice has value, and you can join us right here.
